Wider Screenings TM | Transgressor publishes, distributes and directly sells (via Paypal and instant download) the work of indie authors and small e-publishers. We are open to authors internationally but are based in Adelaide, South Australia and are eager to deal with local and interstate Australian authors and self-publishers. We are open to all genres (fiction, poetry, non-fiction, multi-media) except Christian/religious/spiritual and offer both royalty based contracts (25% royalties) and partnership publishing contracts (75% royalties if 75% of upfront costs borne by author).

For auhors who wish to publish their work with us,

we offer PDF, ePUB, .doc and other file formats as well us upload and distribution on Amazon Kindle, Smashwords, Apple iTunes, Sony eBookstore, Google Books, Kobo, Diesel, WH Smith, XinXii, Casa del Libro and an expanding range of e-retailers. We also sell our published e-books directly from our own hosted e-book store: sales from here increase author royalty returns as there is no vendor cut prior to returns. We provide editing, formatting and file conversion facilities for all contracted ebooks so there are no upfront or hidden costs to the author.

We offer standard royalty contracts (25%) on ebooks we contract to from authors. Alternatively, authors can select a partnership publishing option: if they pay 75% of the editing, production and formatting cost they obtain a higher royalty rate of 75%. Authors approved for publication can select which option they prefer - standard royalty or partnership.

To submit work for potential publication, please provide - name, contact details, publishing history (if any), genre, word count, description of multimedia or illustration content (if appropriate), sample chapter(s), description of competing works (why/how is your ebook unique), market analysis (who will this ebook appeal to), promotion strategy (how will you promote this ebook).

Submissions are accepted by email only. Attachments must be in PDF, .doc or .docx format.

For self-published authors / small & indie publishers who wish to sell their e-book(s) in our online store,

we offer a lucrative vendor contract (vendor takes only 25% of sale price). Contact for enquiries / further details. The online store is open to PDF, .doc, .docx and multi-media. Erotic/Adult XXX content is acceptable, within limits - query before sending such. We reserve the right to refuse to stock any e-book or remove a title for sale from our site solely at our discretion.

Wider Screenings TM seeks proposals and manuscripts for film non-fiction e-books and multi-media. We are open to any subject and length (though material under 3000 wds will be considered for onsite and e-zine publishing only). In addition, we pay $$$ (via paypal) for publishing rights to individual film reviews, essays, articles and bio-filmographic accounts of directors and actors.

To submit an e-book manuscript,

please include the following information: context (what is it about), sample chapters (2), table of contents, full outline (a chapter by chapter description), author biography, details of any blogs or tie-in websites, sample illustrative or video material (if multimedia), details of competing works (how does your ebook differ from others on the subject), any plans for marketing and promoting. E-book manuscripts accepted for publication will be offered a standard royalty contract or a partnership publishing contract (shared production expense in return for higher royalties). E-books will be professionally formatted for Kindle, Apple iTunes, Barnes & Noble Nook and many other e-retailers in our existing worldwide distribution network. E-books will also be sold onsite and integrated into relevant onsite content.

To submit a film/DVD/Blu-Ray review for onsite or ezine publication,

send the entire article (up to 3000 wds: longer pieces considered for e-book only) with author biography, details of any blogs or tie-in websites. sample illustrative or video material (if multimedia). Reviews should be sent as an attachment in .doc, .docx format only, be double-spaced and in an easy to read font (arial, times new roman) in 12pt. Please proofread your work carefully before submission. Reviews accepted for online / ezine publication will be paid at the rate of 1/4c per word: payment via paypal on acceptance.

To submit an essay / article for e-zine publication (upto 3000 wds),

send the entire piece with author biography, details of any blogs or tie-in websites. sample illustrative or video material (if multimedia). Essays / articles should be sent as an attachment in .doc, .docx format only, be double-spaced and in an easy to read font (arial, times new roman) in 12pt. Please proofread your work carefully before submission. Reviews accepted for online / ezine publication will be paid at the rate of 1/4c per word: payment via paypal on acceptance.

To submit a director / cast member bio-filmographical portrait for onsite and/or ezine publication,

send the entire profile with author biography, details of any blogs or tie-in websites, sample illustrative or video material (if multimedia). Profiles should be sent as an attachment in .doc, .docx format only, be double-spaced and in an easy to read font (arial, times new roman) in 12pt. Please proofread your work carefully before submission. Reviews accepted for online / ezine publication will be paid at the rate of 1/4c per word: payment via paypal on acceptance.

Please examine existing site content and e-book range - familiarity with what we write about and the house style will be greatly valued in the assessment process.
