The Wider Screenings Guide to
World Erotica
This section offers a critical analysis of erotic cinema from around the world. The reviews here are less formal than the adult DVD archive which concentrates primarily on "pornographic" movies. The films in this section are usually considered "erotica" although the difference between erotica and pornography is a subjective one usually allied to either the Christian or radical feminist dislike of sexual explicitness. Some of the films in this section contain such explicitness but many do not and have indeed been shown throughout the world as examples of mainstream erotic film.
